Childhood Cancer Awareness

We are excited to announce that our school will be participating in a special fundraiser to support Childhood Cancer Awareness. This is an opportunity for our students, families, and staff to come together in support of a meaningful cause.

From Monday, September 29th through Friday, October 3rd, we will be collecting pennies and spare change in each classroom. All funds raised will be donated to Make-A-Wish, an organization dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses, including those battling cancer. These wishes bring hope, strength, and joy during difficult times.

To show our support, we encourage all students to wear gold (or yellow) on Tuesday, September 30th, the official color for childhood cancer awareness. Let’s shine together as a community to raise awareness and funds for this important cause!

Here are the details:

  • Collection Dates: September 29th – October 3rd

  • Fundraising: Students can bring in pennies and spare change to contribute.

  • Wear Gold or Yellow Day: Tuesday, September 30th – let’s fill the school with color!

We appreciate your support and generosity as we work together to make a difference. Every penny counts, and together, we can provide hope to children and families facing childhood cancer.

Thank you for your involvement in this effort. Let’s make this fundraiser a success!
