We will be hosting a VIP Lunch on 4/8/2026.
A VIP could be a parent, a guardian, a grandparent, an aunt, an uncle, or anyone that would be considered a VIP to your child. We recognize that schedules can be challenging, so if a VIP is unable to join us, it’s important that we know so that we can have a plan in place for those students who don’t have a VIP to eat with.
Please see the flyer below for more information.

Please RSVP by 4pm on Monday, 4/6 to let us know you’ll be attending and where you’ll be meeting your child. You an RSVP here: https://forms.gle/KKU5RzbvZ55UrGY5A
Our Kitchen Staff really appreciates your RSVP. They are trying to plan ahead for how much food to order and prepare. Having tentative counts is very helpful!
Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Where will we eat lunch if our student(s) is in TK or Kinder? It's important for you to talk with your child about where to meet you when it is lunch time. For our TK/Kinder students, we will have the kinder playground area open for families to eat. Families are welcome to eat at the tables or bring a blanket to eat on the grass. We will have a table reserved for students who do not have a VIP to sit with, with whom a staff member will sit and eat lunch.
2. Where will we eat lunch if our student(s) is in 1st-5th? It's important for you to talk with your child about where to meet you when it is lunch time. Our lunch tables on the hard courts will be open for families to sit at and we'll also have the grass area open at Windrows Park by our school so that families can sit in the shade and eat. You're welcome to bring a blanket to sit on. We will have a table reserved for students who do not have a VIP to sit with, with whom a staff member will sit and eat lunch.
3. Why is Preschool not included? Preschool doesn't eat lunch here at Windrows to begin with.
4. Can we bring in an outside lunch? Absolutely. You're welcome to pack a lunch from home or stop by your student's favorite fast food joint! Please communicate this with them so they know to go straight to your predetermined meeting spot. Please bring a lunch for your child only. Bringing in food for other students is not permitted. We must be mindful of student medical needs and allergies. (See FAQ #1 & #2)
5. Can students still get school lunch from the cafeteria? Yes, they can! Please communicate this to them so that they can go straight to the cafeteria when the bell rings to get their lunch and then out to find you. (See FAQ #1 & #2)
6. Can adults purchase a cafeteria meal? Yes! An adult meal is $6.50 cash only. Exact change is important, because we do not have change on hand and will not be able to make change. Adults will need to adhere to the same lunch guidelines our students do: chose something from the three different categories and one of them has to be a fruit or a vegetable. (The April Lunch menu will be posted HERE, once it is available).
7. How many VIPs can come? We'd appreciate if families would send no more than two VIPs per student.
8. Can a sibling who does not attend Windrows attend the VIP Lunch? To ensure this special event is safe, smooth, and meaningful for our students, the VIP Lunch is designed specifically for school-aged children and their VIP guests. We kindly asks that toddlers and younger siblings do not attend. This will allow families to fully focus on engaging with their student(s) during lunch, and it helps us manage space, seating, and supervision in a way that keeps the event enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for understanding and for helping us make this a memorable experience for your child!
9. Lunch is 40 minutes. What do we do when we're done eating? You are welcome to spend more time with your student. You can shoot some hoops with them, turn a jump rope, or watch them play! You're also welcome to leave so they can go play with their friends. At the bell, we'll let VIPs know when lunch has ended so students can line up to go to class and VIPs can make their way off campus.
